Practical help for your next metadata update.

Email support@hip958.com. For a first walkthrough, see Getting Started.

Try the workflow without connecting Apple

Choose Explore Sample on the welcome screen. It uses local example data, needs no Apple key and does not call a paid AI model or change a live app.

Use Home or ⌘⇧H to return to welcome. Continue, when available, reopens your recent workspace.

Connect an app

  1. Choose Connect Your App.
  2. Select Individual or Team API Key.
  3. Enter Key ID and, for a Team key, Issuer ID. Import your authorized .p8 file.
  4. Choose session-only use or remember the key in this Mac’s Keychain.
  5. Validate the connection, then select the app, platform and version.

If the app list is empty or access is denied, check key type, identifiers and Apple permissions. Never send the key file to support.

Keychain or reconnection problems

Use Reconnect and select the original authorized .p8 file again. Session-only use allows the current session to continue without persisting the imported key.

If remembering the key fails, the app may still connect for this session and explain that reimport is needed after restart. Do not delete projects or reset your service identity to fix credential access.

Edit, translate and review

Use Edit to work by language or across languages. Resolve field-limit errors before approval. In Translate, inspect source changes, align existing text where needed and use glossary entries or manual protection to preserve preferred wording.

Read the AI processing notice before starting an AI action. Review candidates, save the changes you want to a draft, then approve the intended fields in Review.

Add languages or create a version

Add Languages… can use your current local source draft, including edits not yet synced to Apple. Check the source language and current text before generating. Select locales, generate candidates, inspect each language, fix validation issues, then preview and confirm the save.

New Version… previews a new manually released draft version. Apple determines whether a new version can be created. If a pending version already exists, open that version instead. This action does not select a build or submit a release for review.

AI unavailable, quota exhausted or rate limited

Open Membership from More or Settings and refresh the service-confirmed status and remaining allowance. Manual editing and syncing remain free. Pro AI features require a verified service entitlement and available allowance. Review the included allowance in the app’s paywall before purchase; Membership shows your service-confirmed balance. AI calls reset each UTC calendar month without rollover, and annual plans receive the allowance monthly. A batch can require multiple calls.

For rate limits, follow the retry time shown. Keep generated candidates and per-language results when a batch stops. Retry only failed work after checking the prior result. An uncertain AI outcome may have consumed allowance; repeated requests can consume more. Reinstallation does not reset quota. Do not make another purchase to resolve a transaction that is still awaiting verification.

Pro purchases, restores and cancellation

Open the app’s paywall to compare monthly and yearly plans; both include the same Pro features. Check the displayed price, billing period, included allowance, Privacy Policy and Apple EULA before subscribing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Use Restore Purchases for an existing purchase or Manage subscription to manage or cancel through Apple. Deleting the app or service data does not cancel renewal. Apple handles payment and refund requests. If a purchase is pending or verification is unavailable, keep the existing transaction and use retry verification or restore; do not buy again.

Screenshots and review submission

In supported versions, manage screenshots, prepare review details and select an eligible build already uploaded to Apple. Review the diagnostic results, then preview and explicitly confirm submission as a separate action. Apple controls editability, processing and review outcomes. ASOFlow does not upload build binaries or automatically release apps.

A metadata write failed or only partly succeeded

  1. Keep your local drafts and open History to inspect each item.
  2. Refresh App Store Connect before another write preview.
  3. Resolve conflicts and validation problems.
  4. Confirm the new Dry Run only after reviewing the intended fields.
  5. Retry failed items only. Check uncertain results against Apple before sending again.

Do not repeat a whole batch when some items succeeded.

Local data or navigation issues

Drafts are saved before supported navigation and exit actions. If saving fails, keep the current workspace open and retain your input until the problem is resolved.

If a database cannot be opened, use Retry and preserve the existing data. Do not erase the local database as an initial troubleshooting step. Settings → Data contains deliberate local deletion controls.

Send a useful support report

Include:

  • ASOFlow version/build and macOS version.
  • The feature and step where the issue occurred.
  • Expected behavior, actual behavior and a safe error code.
  • Whether the issue involved the sample or a real app.
  • A screenshot with customer text and identifiers removed, if useful.

Never include .p8 files, JWTs, passwords, service tokens or payment-card information. There is no published guaranteed response time.
